Drive to Gangotri (100 km, 4-5 hours). Visit the sacred Gangotri temple and prepare for the trek. Overnight in guesthouse.
Start trekking to Bhojwasa (14 km, 6-7 hours). Gradual ascent through pine forests. Overnight in tents.
Trek to Gaumukh, the source of the Ganges (4 km, 2-3 hours). Explore the glacier and surrounding area. Overnight in tents.
Continue to Tapovan meadows (4 km, 3-4 hours). Acclimatization day with stunning mountain views. Overnight in tents.
