Itinerary

Arrival in Uttarkashi

Arrive in Uttarkashi and meet your guide. Briefing about the trek and equipment check. Overnight in hotel.

Uttarkashi to Gangotri

Drive to Gangotri (100 km, 4-5 hours). Visit the sacred Gangotri temple and prepare for the trek. Overnight in guesthouse.

Gangotri to Bhojwasa

Start trekking to Bhojwasa (14 km, 6-7 hours). Gradual ascent through pine forests. Overnight in tents.

Bhojwasa to Gaumukh

Trek to Gaumukh, the source of the Ganges (4 km, 2-3 hours). Explore the glacier and surrounding area. Overnight in tents.

Gaumukh to Tapovan

Continue to Tapovan meadows (4 km, 3-4 hours). Acclimatization day with stunning mountain views. Overnight in tents.

Tapovan to Auden's Col Base

Steep ascent to Auden's Col base camp (6 km, 5-6 hours). Challenging terrain with glacier approach. Overnight in tents.

Cross Auden's Col

Early morning start to cross Auden's Col (17,800 ft). Technical glacier crossing with ropes and safety equipment. Overnight in tents.

Descent to Kedarnath

Descend to Kedarnath (12 km, 6-7 hours). Visit the sacred Kedarnath temple. Overnight in guesthouse.

Kedarnath to Rishikesh

Drive back to Rishikesh (200 km, 6-7 hours). Celebration dinner and trek completion. Overnight in hotel.

Departure

Departure from Rishikesh. Transfer to airport/railway station for onward journey.
